Every year, in « Midi-Pyrenees » district (south – west of France) takes place an International Wakeboard Competition. This year the WWA-E  (World Wakeboard Association EUROPE ) in partnership with the WWA – France has selected the TNG (Gers Cable Park) in L’Isle Jourdain (Gers) and his city to host this competition.

Wakeboarding is currently the sport with the biggest growth with nearly 30,000 more riders per year around the world.

From Orlando to Sydney through Camsur in the Philippines, the spirit of wakeboarding is present everywhere, and the sports industry closely monitors it. An industry with a dynamic, young and ecological image.

True popular phenomenon thanks to its democratization by ecological means of traction such as cables, wakeboarding now brings the population of the 3S (snowboarding, skateboarding and surfing). More than a new economic reality, a new lifestyle is born.

With over 30,000 spectators on each stop, the French leg of the SOORUZ WAKE & COUNTRY 2011 is the popular wakeboard event in Europe. This international event is known as the toughest  of Pro Wakeboard Tour.

The French leg of the SOORUZ WAKE & COUNTRY 2011 will take place from May 23rd to 29th, 2011, on the site of the TNG, in L’Isle-Jourdain (France), specially designed to accommodate a tournament of this magnitude.

Beside these events are organized for the public free initiations, the possibility of testing this year’s wakeboard equipment and wakeboard shows at night.

These events and competitions provide a wide range of targets (men, women, young and old) for our potential partners on the site in the stands (main partners and other exhibitors from the wakeboard industry).

L’Isle Jourdain Town

Located at the Isle Jourdain, the gateway to Gers near Auch and Toulouse, the TNG (Gers Cable Park) covers a leisure area of 25 ha in total.
